Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine works in partnership to provide affordable housing in our communities.  HFH/7RM is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), serving the 31 towns in Sagadahoc, Lincoln, and Northern Cumberland counties.  We coordinate donations of funds and materials with volunteer labor to build sustainable and affordable new homes, and do home repairs or weatherization for qualifying families.  We recently completed a Women Build home in Harpswell, a BIW Build home in Bath, and step-one weatherization of one hundred homes in Fall 2009.  Our home repair program served three families by making their homes safer and more energy efficient.  
To help support our mission, our ReStore sells donated building materials, fixtures, furniture, appliances, tools, and other surplus items.
