About Us

Click here to learn more about LEED® for HomesIn 2008, Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine built two green and energy efficient homes at the Women Build and BIW Build sites. We are enrolled in a pilot affordable green home building program sponsored by Habitat for Humanity International, the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Home Depot Foundation. Our two homes built in 2008 are rated Energy Star efficient and registered with the USGBC's LEED® (Leaders in Energy and Environmental Development) for Homes program.
