Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine welcomes volunteers from all faiths who are committed to our goal of eliminating poverty housing.
About Us

The Fall 2009 Weatherization Program is now completed. It helped families who earn up to 80% of area median income reduce home fuel costs by sealing air leaks and minimizing air infiltration. Examples include caulking, weatherstripping, foaming gaps, installing door sweeps, minor insulation, and interior storm windows. Five hundred interior storm windows were installed as part of the Fall 2009 program. This program was funded by the United Way of Mid-Coast Maine and there was no cost to the participants.

Habitat plans on weatherizing one hundred additional homes in Fall 2010.
